Hello

My name is Zohar Elyoseph, I'm passionate about transforming how we use artificial intelligence in mental health and education. As an Associate Professor and researcher, I lead groundbreaking work in developing AI-based training simulations that help teachers and mental health professionals handle sensitive conversations with confidence. My goal is to make professional training and mental health support more accessible while maintaining the highest standards of care.

My Story

My journey bridges the worlds of psychology, technology, and education. As an Associate Professor and researcher specializing in artificial intelligence applications in mental health, I've dedicated my career to understanding how AI can enhance human capabilities rather than replace them.

My research at the intersection of AI and mental health has been pioneering in several areas, particularly in developing innovative methodologies for AI-based clinical training simulations. This work, which has been adopted by researchers at leading institutions across Germany, France, Italy, and UK, focuses on creating culturally-adapted, multilingual training environments for various professional skills - from suicide risk assessment to parent guidance and psychotherapy support.

What drives me is the potential to make mental health support and professional training more accessible while maintaining the highest standards of care. As an advisor to Israel's National AI Program in Education and a key contributor to the country's national strategic plan for AI integration in education, I've seen firsthand how thoughtful implementation of technology can transform learning experiences.

My academic foundation in psychology and educational psychology, combined with extensive research in AI applications, gives me a unique perspective on how we can harness technology to support human development. Whether working with clinicians, educators, or students, my goal remains consistent: to create tools and methodologies that enhance rather than replace human connection.
